RedM Server Rules

Rules specific to the Ragnarök Gaming RedM roleplay server — period-appropriate conduct, criminal activity, law enforcement, and more.

❖These are a rough set of rules for the beta test. This ruleset is not a good representation of our rules on release.
❖RP is Not Required but is Encouraged
❖No VDM/RDM
❖No Toxicity or Harassment
❖Be a decent person to your fellow testers
❖Report ALL exploits you find
❖Do Not violate Twitch TOS
❖You may stream but please do so respectfully — this is a beta and there will likely be bugs

🚂Getting Started

❖Our server provides an RDR2 Story mode-like experience with real players filling the world. You start as a new resident in Valentine, Blackwater, or Saint Denis with a small sum of money and a few starter items.
❖Create Character: Facial features and skin tone are PERMANENT. No plastic surgery or changing of name, age, or description.
❖
Starter Jobs: Construction Work, Herb Gathering, Crawfish Digging, and Newspaper Delivery — all free to start.
- ➢Newspaper delivery requires being hired by the post office owner
❖Basic Equipment: Guns at any gunsmith, food/tools/horse supplies at every general store, specialized job tools at job stores.
❖Horses: Purchase untrained horses at any stable. Better horses require a horse trainer.

🎮HUD Overview

❖Health: Outer ring depletes from damage first, then the inner core. Use medical items to increase it.
❖Stamina: Drains when running, jumping, or climbing. Inner core replenishes from water, tea, coffee, juice, or tonics. Running on an empty outer ring damages health.
❖Food: Eat routinely or take damage. Drain is sped up by running or extreme temperatures.
❖Water: Drink routinely or take damage. Drain is sped up rapidly by running or extreme temperatures.
❖Stress (Skull): Builds from shooting, fast riding, extreme temperatures, and hostile encounters. Reduced by cooked food or smoking.
❖Cleanliness: As the bar fills, locals become more aggressive. Wash at any water source to clean yourself.
❖Voice: N key to speak, PageUp to change range.
❖Temperature: Local temperature varies by area and time of day. Dress appropriately — extreme temperatures drain all stats.
❖Alcohol: High amounts cause screen effects and reduce stamina/thirst. Coffee removes the effects of alcohol.

🌎World Systems

❖
Water System: Kneel at rivers/streams, use water pumps, or stand at water barrels to drink, refill bottles, clean yourself, or fill buckets.
- ➢Natural sources can give dirty water that causes illness — boil it at a campfire first
- ➢Canteens always provide clean water no matter where you fill them
❖Banks: Store up to 10 different items and unlimited cash to keep your valuables safe.

❖Blue — Public jobs and associated stores/sale points
❖Gold — Government services and locations
❖Purple — Player Owned/Operated Business locations
❖Pink — Player Customization
❖Orange — General and non-job related stores
❖Green — Leisure activities
❖White — No category (unchangeable in script)

💬Commands

❖/handsup — Raises player hands (also X key)
❖/clearchat — Clears text chat of all messages
❖/flourishes — Opens a menu to do tricks with pistols and knives
❖/boatEnter — Enter the nearest boat you own that is already in the world
❖/walkanim — Opens a menu to set your walk style
❖/hidehud / /showhud — Hide or show your HUD
❖/hudmenu — Opens the HUD customization menu
❖/hudload — Reloads your HUD if the script restarts
❖/loadclothes — Reloads clothing to fix visual bugs
❖/lastsession — Displays your last session playtime
❖/leaderboard — Displays daily, weekly, and monthly playtime leaders
❖/scenes — Place and modify scenes
❖/sendhelp — Request a doctor to your location
❖/walkslow — Sets a slower walk speed for RP purposes
