A guide to the available public jobs and activities on the RedM server — find your path and build your story in the west.

🌱Starter Jobs

❖Construction: Help construct and repair buildings in Blackwater, Valentine, and Saint Denis. Simple job for new citizens, no buy-in cost.
❖Crawfish Digs: Wade into the bayou to harvest crawfish from chimneys. Holes refill over time. No cost to start — great for new citizens and swamp dwellers.
❖Herb Gathering: Find native herbs, berries, and flowers across the wilds. Sell to herbalists or use in remedies and recipes. No cost, ideal for new citizens.
❖Undertaker: Clean up and bury bodies after violence in the west. Not a full living, but it opens doors and keeps cash in your pocket.
❖Mining: Pickaxe your way through mines and caves to haul stone, clay, salt, gemstones, and minerals. Valuable resources, always a buyer, affordable to start.
❖Fishing: Fish in any stream, pond, lake, or river. Easy to start, but it takes experience to catch the biggest and best fish. Always in demand.
❖Lumberjack: Venture deep into the woods to fell tall trees. Sell raw or processed lumber — experience needed to identify the best trees. Profitable with low overhead.
❖Hunting: Stalk the plains and forests for large, healthy animals. Pelts, horns, claws, feathers, and meat are always valuable. Affordable to start.

⚙️Intermediate & Advanced Jobs

❖Oil Pumping: Stake your claim with oil pumps, find the best fields, and sell the liquid gold for cold hard cash. Moderate start-up cost, great passive income.
❖Wagon Deliveries: Pick up supplies and oil from the Heartland Oil Company and deliver them across the west. Long rides but rewarding. Moderate cost to get started.
❖Gold Panning: Pan the rivers of the west for gold — rivers are laden with it if you know how to look. Moderate equipment cost, best done in discreet locations.
❖Farming: Grow the food that feeds the west. Crops grow best in plowed fields on owned land. Affordable to start, high cost to reach the top.
❖Legendary Hunts: Hunt rare and exotic animals for top-tier rewards. Get leads on hunt locations and move fast. Significant risk and time required, but very profitable.
❖Treasure Hunts: Speak to the travelling merchant for leads on hidden treasures throughout the west. Dangerous and hard to reach, but the reward could make you rich.
❖Crabbing: Take large steam-powered boats to rivers and lakes to fish with nets. Sell crabs to bait shops for excellent returns. High buy-in (boat required), but easy and safe.
